Amundsen & Nobile

Synopsis:
Two noble men and a lapdog board a giant airship and set out on a jeopardous quest to discover the North Pole. A tru-ish story. After triumphing in the deadly race for the South Pole, explorer superstar Roald Amundsen suffers from post-expedition blues. Only a new triumph in the ice can restore him to greatness. But he is tired of skiing. Amundsen gets a remarkable idea: to reach the North Pole by airship. Italian engineer Umberto Nobile dreams of glory and bold adventure, despite being an indoorsy type. When Amundsen commissions an airship, Nobile grasps this opportunity for fame. He brings along his beloved fox terrier Titina, regardless of her complete unsuitability for wilderness adventures.
