Works in Progress

Our Works in Progress section gives a sneak preview of upcoming Nordic feature films. Here, exclusive clips/scenes from each film is presented by the film’s director and/or producer. The presentations help create awareness of the films, and provide participants with an intimate and unique meeting with upcoming Nordic films.

This year’s Works in Progress section takes place Thursday August 26th, 2021 at 09:00 – 13:15 at Festiviteten.

In our Work in Progress programme we present 17 feature films in post-production looking for festivals, distributors and sales agents. The projects will also be available in our Online Screening Portal: https://cinandovl.com/haugesund.

Time and place of presentation
Works in Progress will take place in Haugesund on Thursday August 26th, 2021.

The audience
The audience at Works in Progress consists mainly of professional buyers, festival programmers, film financiers and sales agents.

The presentation
The director/producer will give a 10-12 minute presentation the film in English. The presentation consists of three components:

1.   A short introduction of the director and the film.
2.   2-3 film clips (altogether 5-8 minutes), introduced by the director and/or producers.
3.   A brief Q&A with the moderator.
