NEW NORDIC FILMS 2025: CALL FOR BALTIC FEATURE FILM PROJECTS
The 31st New Nordic Films takes place on 19 – 22 August 2025 at The Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund, Norway. This year’s 20th Nordic Co-Production Market is looking for Baltic feature film projects with a Nordic connection.
In cooperation with the Estonian Film Institute, National Film Centre of Latvia, and Lithuanian Film Centre, New Nordic Films 2025 will focus on the Baltics. The Nordic Co-Production Market is a pitching forum aimed at producers with film projects in the advanced development stage seeking co-producers, co-financing, and international sales agents. It offers a unique opportunity to present film projects to co-producers, film funds, distributors, and international sales agents. The market gathers around 300+ film professionals interested in Nordic films annually.
"The Baltic countries have distinguished themselves with a strongly growing and internationally oriented film industry in recent years. By focusing on the Baltic countries, we want to create an arena for increased production cooperation between the Nordic and Baltic countries" says Gyda Velvin Myklebust, Head of New Nordic Films.
