Works in Progress is a section for feature films in production or post-production. 15-18 projects are selected annually, and they will present their films to an audience of festival programmers, sales agents, distributors, and other film professionals. (Photo: Grethe Nygaard)

Call for submissions

Works in Progress is a section for feature films currently in production or in post-production. 

Eligible applicants

• All production companies who are based in the Nordic countries or co-producing with the Nordic countries are eligible to apply.

Project criteria:

• Full-length feature film
• Suitable for international circulation
• In post-production or currently shooting
• Produced or co-produced in a Nordic country

Project submission must contain:

• Completed online submission form 
• Treatment or synopsis of the film
  
• Link to film clips
  
• Link to trailer/teaser (if available)
  

Selected WIP-projects will receive: 

• Opportunity to present your film amongst leading industry figures and fellow filmmakers

• Description of the film and the filmmakers in New Nordic Films' catalogue and website
• Exclusive one-on-one meetings with sales agents, distributors and festivals

• 2 nights accommodation during New Nordic Films for producer or director 
• Free festival and market accreditation 
  
• Access to all social events and gatherings
