Maria is 42 years old and juggles a life as an artist and mother of young children. One day she has to come to terms with herself when her husband announces that he wants out of the relationship suddenly. Should she let her whole world come crashing down, or come to terms with the life she has and find a way forward? Making love is about a woman's opportunity for self-knowledge, growth and reconciliation with unconscious and dysfunctional patterns in herself. Maria, played absolutely fantastically by Helga Guren, must come to terms with herself and her role as mother, daughter and wife. Love is a thought-provoking drama about having to start over when you are in the middle of life. It received 5 awards at Karlovy Vary filmfestival this summer!
